About the Artist

Bernadette worked as a commercial artist for five years after which she embarked on extensive overseas travel throughout the UK, Europe and North Africa, eventually traveling back to Australia via Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan, India and South East Asia. Exploration of from and composition draw on a primary medium of oil and acrylic on canvas. Her subject matter exhibits painterly interpretations of photo realism; human form is often graceful; whilst scapes and settings employ further diversification of impressionist techniques. Now a member for the Royal QLD Art Society Gold Coast Inc, Bernadette’s work is exhibited through the Gold Coast.
