There are few things that I love better than to BE in nature.. to feel a sense of connection to forces much greater and higher. Nature has always lifted me in the same way that great music does.
This ‘composition’ is inspired by my enjoyment of Girraween National Park.

About David Woodford
David Woodford is a mostly self taught artist. This pathway is challenging for all the ‘mistakes’ it brings, but it does give great freedom to explore many techniques and ideas. He is well regarded for his pencil and charcoal drawings and his linocut prints are found in many private and public collections, including that of Queensland Parliament House.
His absolutely loves listening to music and playing with oil paint and aspires to one day paint landscapes as good as his art heroes, especially Margaret Preston, Gustav Klimt, Paul Klee and Fred Williams.
