The Life of The Party
'The Life of The Party' (2024) is a tonal drawing that shares a glimpse of my past. This artwork reflects on my childhood and how this has shaped me into the person I am today. Demonstrated in the artwork, is not only my best friend, but my sister sitting on my right. My older sister taught me the rights and wrongs and helped me along my journey of growing up for many years. However, as we got older, we both struggled with putting ourselves out into the world and as individuals we stopped giving it our all. But ever since I was little, all I needed is my sister by my side and as long as we are together, we ARE the life of the party.
