As an artist based in Narrabri, NSW, my work is a celebration of the everyday, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and inherent beauty of daily life. My art delves into the landscapes, environments, and neighborhoods that surround me, exploring the deep connection between nature, people, and places. Through my work, I uncover the layers of my life in Australia, reflecting on the connections to people and places, memories, and the community that shape my existence.
Utilizing nostalgic colors and a keen understanding of shadow and light, I create emotive narratives through paint. The repetitive nature of my brushstrokes and the layering of colors mirror the layers of my memories and experiences. In essence, I am painting my story, discovering myself, and crafting my own sense of place.
