Tony WALKER
old quarry near Surat

watercolour

Time has a habit of cloaking old quarry workings with a mysterious appeal. There is history in every crevice and rockface, and the evident reclaiming by nature. A flock of the ever present white cockatoos added movement, life and their raucous call in this forgotten quarry near Surat.

Size: 75 × 51 cm
