Oil

Embracing the essence of organic abstraction, my work reflects my love of nature. Working intuitively with and oil, I explore the idea of perception vs. reality within the textured, organic shapes found in our landscape. Random and illusive pattern found in nature is by far my greatest inspiration. My use of exaggerated colour provides the structure that underpins my experimental approach to applying paint in transparent, translucent and opaque layers.
