Temperance

Oil on canvas

Displaying a darkening Wiradjuri regional landscape of Canowindra, NSW, 'Temperance' captures a telling moment that continues to evolve across many indigenous lands. Reflected is the relationship between the respectful traditional land management practices of the Wiradjuri people’s approach, and the resulting restrained climate reply seemingly gifted to innovating, commercial inhabitants.

Size: 90 × 86 cm
