This Male Gang Gang Cockatoo was a delight to draw, with his royal red comb to his bluish grey feathers.
Munching away on the abundance of berries unaware of his fight for survival with his species ,after devastating fires that wiped out their habitat and their families. These beautiful Cockatoos need our support and awareness to flourish amongst this beautiful big Country.

I work primarily with pastel pencils and soft pastels. My main topic is Wildlife with a focus on Birds in particular. My Artwork focuses on Realism bringing the Animals up close and personal, so that the viewer can see their natural beauty and habitat and appreciate the joy they can bring to the world.
