My practice is centred on the refinement of landscape through immediacy and restraint. Working alla prima in oil on linen and panel, I complete each piece in a single sitting to preserve the clarity and intent of the initial impression.
I focus on light, atmosphere, composition and the quiet presence of a place, reducing the scene to its essential elements through controlled colour and deliberate mark-making. The work is designed to reveal itself gradually. Gestural up close, resolved from a distance.

About Kaleb Clements
I am an Australian oil painter, born in 1997, and began painting in 2020. My practice centres on alla prima landscape and still life painting, working primarily on linen and panel to capture light, atmosphere, and the beauty of the natural world. Each work is completed in a single sitting, balancing immediacy with a resolved and considered finish. My paintings are sold online and many are held in private collections. I continue to develop a body of work focused on creating refined, enduring pieces that bring the charm of handmade traditional art into contemporary homes and workplaces.
