Stories Under the Eucalyptus
This painting reflects my connection to both nature and storytelling. It was inspired by a currawong we often see near my home and a favourite book from when I was younger. I liked the idea of the bird being part of the story, as if it is reading and imagining along with me. I used acrylic paint and fine line detail to bring together the natural environment and the world inside the book. This piece is about how stories and nature can connect, and how imagination can turn everyday moments into something meaningful.
