Meadowed
Meadowed is an experimental oil painting focusing on livestock as a foundation of human life. The work explores the dependence between humans, animals, and the environment, questioning what happens when this balance begins to break down. The solitary cow becomes a central symbol of isolation, representing not only livestock but all species affected by environmental decline. Its separation within the vast landscape suggests vulnerability, emphasising how climate change disrupts ecosystems and threatens the systems we rely on. Through this work, I aim to highlight the fragility of these relationships, encouraging reflection on how environmental collapse impacts both nature and human life.
