Wings vs Waves

The wedge tailed eagle is a spectacular species of bird only found in Australia and New Guinea. Although the wedge tailed eagle is a muscular and intelligent species of the birds of prey, it too is facing unimaginable threats. It is facing disasters like illegal poisoning, unexpected collisions with wind turbines and also loss of habitat.

Therefore, the wedge tailed eagle needs our support. To help, we must stop cutting down trees and stop the terrible situations of hunting and threatening the wildlife. Moreover, we should draw the line for the extinction of all endangered species.

I drew this eagle soaring above the rapid waves skimming its feet along the water. It is determined to fly out of the violent situation. I drew this art piece using charcoal and pencil, and created a transition effect with the help of brushes and rubbers.

Size: 42 × 59 cm
