A broken branch bearing life
Wishart state school
The Grey Fantail is an intelligent and interesting bird. They are grey - brown with white bars on its wings, white eyebrows and has a long fanned tail. They have wiskers around their beak which gives information about its prey. These aerial acrobats sound like a violin. I’d love to listen to them and may be play along too.
I drew a happy family of Grey Fantails feeding, nurturing and ensuring a future for their little ones just like we all do. Unfortunately, the branch supporting the nest broke and a girl reaches out to hold the carefully crafted nest to save the chicks. Lucky for them! But usually they are either wiped out due to habitat loss and predation. This picture is just a call to preserve our feathered friends as this planet rightly belongs to all these beautiful species and it’s our responsibility to protect them.
