Landscape

Kerri Dixon
After the tide

Soft Pastel

This piece captures a quiet moment on Woodgate Beach, where the tide has receded and left behind a trail of shells like scattered memories. I carefully arranged the composition to lead the viewer’s eye from the foreground into the distance, inviting them to walk the shoreline with me. The curve of the water draws you gently out to sea, creating a sense of calm and connection to the landscape. Working in pastel allowed me to capture the delicate textures of the shells and the warmth of the sand in soft, natural detail.

Size: 54 × 69 cm
