As I paint, I am recalling the most beautiful feeling of an agile horse jumping. My intention is to include enough detail to hold the moment yet allow the broader brushstrokes to express the exquisite sensation of flight.

About Terri Trivett
Terri is a California-born Australian living in the Noosa Hinterland, working in oils and mixed media.
Horses have filled her most treasured life chapters and often feature in her original artworks.
Her understanding and ability to represent their character and features has led to her specialising in equine portraiture.
Terri’s art also reveals her sense of adventure and appreciation of natural environments, especially for her beloved ocean in Noosa where she swims or surfs most mornings.
