About Gopali Nissen
Originally from Sydney, Gopali trained as a Signwriter for a major department store from the age of 16 and later painted murals.
After marriage she moved to the Northern Rivers area and raised three now adult children. She now paints full time in her home in Murwillumbah and recently graduated from Milan Art Institute.
Deeply inspired by the natural world, Gopali also enjoys gardening, the ocean and travel which all provide ideas and inspiration for her work.
She describes her art as colourful, thought provoking, positive vibes that uplift the spirit, sharing themes she feels are important for humanities future.
