This painting depicts a typical urban streetscape at Balmoral looking over Mosman Bay in Sydney.It captures the bright bobbing sail boats in the distance.The main focus is the road in the foreground and the sunlight shining on the power pole.This is contrasted against the green of the manicured garden walls of the Balmoral homes.

About John Swadling
John Swadling – Artist b 1955
John is an impressionist oil and acrylic landscape artist located on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia.
He is inspired by the local beach vistas and the local hinterland mountains as well his former home of Sydney and its beautiful harbour scenes which often feature in his art.
John is a finalist in the 2023 and 2024 Darcy Doyle Awards held on the Gold Coast. He has also exhibited in other local and interstate art awards and exhibitions.
