Ben Lomond From Conara

In November 2022 I was fortunate enough to attend an Artist Retreat held in Conara, Midlands, Tasmania. The landscape there looking out toward Ben Lomond was breathtaking, however, in the open countryside the sky looked so vast and full of moody hues, and that was what fuelled my inspiration.
Travelling around the area, and at different times of the day the landscape became at times almost eerily dominated by the changing, but ever magnificent clouds, not surprising it has been the muse of many great artists.
