Between the Notes
This is my younger brother, Eric. Eric can be annoying and playful in daily life. But when he is on stage or deep in practice, he truly shines. I chose to draw him practicing the guitar because his music often fills our home while I paint. His sound has become part of my creative environment. This year, he began his journey at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School. This portrait is my way of congratulating him on this new chapter and a tribute to the shared language we’ve found—one in sound, one in sight.
