Artist Statement – Shuyang
Shuyang completed this watercolor painting over three weeks in his after-school spare time, guided by his art teacher. The artwork features a lively and expressive crab, brought to life with intricate details and rich variations of color. The seaside background complements the subject, creating a harmonious balance of tones and proportions. Through this piece, Shuyang aimed to capture both the beauty and character of marine life. His passion for art is reflected in the careful attention to detail and composition, making this painting a complete and vibrant expression of his creativity.
