Curiosity
As I approach the end of my youth, I have reflected with sadness on aspects of my childhood fading, in particular, childlike curiosity and joy. 'Curiosity' illustrates my attempts to maintain and preserve aspects of the unique perspective with which children view the world. Depicted in the foreground of the artwork is a younger version of me. The expression on my face is one of awe. The exaggerated colours within the artwork are symbolic of this awe and the colour with which we see the world as children. The artwork captures a moment in time, inviting audiences to reflect on the fast-paced nature of life and the value of childhood.
