Prismacolor on paper
Suz grew up at the beachside town of Torquay, Victoria. Her love of the sea and vintage wares, especially coloured glass have merged in this Prismacolor drawing on paper. The subject is a vintage green glass Medicinal Bottle and the beautiful colours the light has created. The angle of the bottle has allowed a realistically drawn rim, melting down to a blended shadow of soft reflection. This has allowed the viewer to visualize a scene of their choice. Maybe, a sky, the sea or a peaceful place they'd like to be. It is a strong design, yet warming and comforting colour pallet.
