One night, I saw a baby sea turtle hatch and go down to the ocean. It was the only one that came out that night, and it looked so small and alone. I kept thinking about whether it would be okay and if it could safely reach the sea.
In my painting, the turtle is swimming into the blue water, following the light from above. Even though it is alone, I imagine there are little fish around it, quietly guiding it and keeping it safe on its journey.
I wanted to show how something so small can still be brave. Sometimes we might feel alone too, but maybe there are always things around us helping, even if we can’t see them clearly.
I hope this little turtle finds its way and grows strong in the big ocean.
