Hollie Elena
Poem of Dusk
Graphite Pencil
As a child, Hollie danced between realms, a pencil in one hand and a book in the other — art her expression, script her catharsis, literature her muse. As seasons passed, her youthful passions were forgotten, overshadowed by life’s demands. Until came a time when that golden spark caught ablaze in a wildfire. Her studio became a museum of thoughts and ideas as she poured her soul into sketchbooks and novels, delving into the art of her childhood. At last, the ballads of her youth were rediscovered. With a deep appreciation for the timeless artistry of the old world, Hollie weaved classical realism and literature into a five-piece visual narrative, her largest fine art series to date taking more than 550 hours to bring to life. The Song of Aurelia collection is the love letter to her youth.
