Ripple reef

gesso, acrylic, gloss

Ripple Reef – a textured acrylic and gloss painting capturing the magic of an underwater world. Sunlight filters through the water’s surface, illuminating the vibrant corals and swirling schools of fish, creating a mesmerizing dance of light and movement.

I’ve always found coral reefs to be enchanting places, full of diverse life and breathtaking colors. The rippling sunlight casts playful shadows and shimmering highlights, making the scene feel alive and ever-changing. There’s an energy beneath the waves—an endless, colourful melody of nature.

I hope this painting sparks a sense of wonder and joy, transporting you to the magic beneath the sea.

About Inessa Ivascanin

I've been immersed in art since childhood, forever drawn to bright, quirky scenes and the joy of mixing textures with acrylic and gloss. For me, art is an escape—getting lost in the process, layering colors, and letting imagination take over. My work has been exhibited in galleries across Australia and overseas, each piece a little adventure of its own. I also love sharing the creative spark, having taught art for a while and still teaching privately at home. Whether painting or teaching, it's all about play, discovery, and bringing a touch of whimsy to the world.
