Siberian tiger
Saint Stephen’s College
This painting was inspired by my love for animals, especially big cats like tigers. I wanted to capture a quiet moment where the tiger is resting peacefully in the snow, surrounded by nature. Tigers are powerful and beautiful, but they are also endangered, and I hope this painting helps people see how important it is to protect them. I worked carefully with acrylics to show the tiger’s soft fur, strong body, and calm expression. Painting the background with trees and snow helped me practice blending colours and creating a peaceful feeling. I chose this scene because it shows a side of tigers that is often overlooked—their calmness, not just their strength. I hope people who see this artwork feel connected to nature and animals, and feel encouraged to take care of them. Creating this piece taught me a lot about patience, detail, and how to tell a story through art.
