Spring Jacarandas and Dusty Pink Roads
Acrylics
Jacarandas in full bloom during Spring in the Scenic Rim landscape always inspires a new artwork.
My intention is always to paint my own interpretation of a scene, a place or a sense of wonder at changing colours of the seasons when travelling those wide open spaces.
Travels along dusty pink roads to Flower Farms and Farm Gate Open Days on sunny days often hold a surprise and realisation that suddenly the jacarandas are all in flower.
Reimagined, stylised, modern and contemporary, professionally framed in Victorian Ash and created to be a statement artwork to love!
Size: 105 × 105 cm

About Helen Stephens
I bring a very distinctive style to landscape painting……my paintings are all modern, reimagined countryside snapshots that have given me much pleasure and joy to view.
Sunday drives that stay in memories because of the colours of trees in full bloom.
My home studio is in Brisbane where I paint whimsical, contemporary landscapes and florals as the seasons inspire my artwork choices.
There is a true essence of trees in my landscape paintings with interpretive brush strokes and colourful palette knife textures flowing onto the canvas.
Thank you to the tree planting pioneers of yesteryear.
