Title: Take Me Home
(Aerial View of the Land)

This aerial view reveals a sacred Australian landscape, rich in deep tones and textures.
White tiny dots reveal and symbolise the ancestral lands and where we have walked for many generations. The painting is embodying the spiritual connection to this land we call "Country” and the journey of going home.

The tones used in this painting represent harmony, where plants, animals, and communities thrive together. Winding rivers within the dot formations tell the stories of our Dreamtime ancestors, vital to sustaining life and guiding Indigenous practices.

The circular ancient rock formations include the journey to sacred sites, highlighting the spirituality embedded in the land. They are also reminders of ceremonies and ancestral connections and importantly, finding our way home.

My painting evokes a deep appreciation for the land's significance, reinforcing the importance of respecting and protecting this sacred bond for future generations across Australia. We all need to find the way home.
