The Flowering, after Surrender
Mixed Media Oil
This piece is a meditation on the quiet power of letting go. The Flowering, after Surrender emerged from a place of softness found only through surrender—through allowing the old to fall away so that something tender and new might grow. I work in mixed media, finishing the piece in oils to create depth, texture, and emotion. I use only the finest artist-quality materials to honour the sacredness of the process. This work is an offering—a gentle reminder that even after crumbling, we can bloom.
"Be crumbled. So wild flowers will come up where you are. You have been stony for too many years. Try something different. Surrender" - Rumi
