Influences of this painting relate to the Isle of the Dead by Arnold Böcklin. The Isle of the Dead an island, Port Arthur, Tasmania. The third Isle located at Metroplex Gateway Complex, Brisbane. The painting refers to Thoth Egyptian God often depicted as a man with the head of an ibis.
