About Fiona Chivers

My work is currently focused on contemporary landscape painting in acrylics.
My paintings are inspired by landscapes from within Queensland, particularly the Coastal and hinterland areas of S.E Queensland where eucalypt forests, beach and tidal areas provide inspiration along with natural formations carved out by the elements over millennia.
My work reflects the theme of the Australian landscape, along with our associated memories of place.
