The boundary between nature and home softens through botanical arrangements brought indoors from my garden as still life. Delightful avian friends charm and inspire me with raucous visits amongst the trees I have planted. Charcoal, raw and earthy allows me to draw directly from the natural world, it’s marks are gestural like fleeting shadows. Brush marks of quality acrylic bring light and layering in a way that builds a narrative.
