Wattle Rock Pools – Girraween
Acrylic
Winter at Girraween National Park, just outside of Stanthorpe in Queensland, is the best time of year to see the mountains covered in wattle tree yellows as the wattle flowers in July and August.
A dramatic landscape of giant pink granite boulders, blue waterholes formed by hollows in seamless, weathered granite and wattle bushland that has covered this country for hundred of thousands of years……inspiration indeed!
Professional quality acrylics and varnishes are used on a professional quality stretched canvas.
Professionally framed in Victorian Ash with bees wax added to protect the natural timber.
Vibrant, reimagined, stylised Australian artwork with one off originality and interpretation.
Views from the top of the mountain to the valley below and then to the distant ranges beyond.
Size: 105 × 105 cm
