We Can Tell
Oil on Polycotton
This is a deconstructed view of Bangalow NSW showing a number of interactions between people in the Main Street. We always used to comment that you could never get away with anything in Bangalow as it was such a small town when I moved there in the late 90’s. That has changed now, but the memories remain as imprints.
Size: 76 × 76 cm

About Kirsten Chambers
Art is the part of me that processes and makes sense of life’s experiences. My paintings are a visual diary of old memories, captured treasures, and daily observations.
I often paint the landscape, however, they are not static scenes, but rather a deconstructed narrative. Each landscape painting is the journey through the space over time with captured memories from different times, of the stories contained within the space.
