What excites me about art making, is working with vibrant Australian colours and the unique shapes of our landscape. I stretch the application of acrylic paint by layering with textured mediums, integrated with washes and glazes.
In a finished work I like to leaving somethings unsaid and open to interpretation giving the viewer an opportunity to see the familiar and develop an emotional relationship with the painting.
