Connection: Hastings Point
Acrylic on Canvas
‘Connection: Hastings Point’, by Australian artist Taya Lindner, is part of the landscape series entitled 'Connection'. This body of work explores the connection we forge a with a special location, in this instance the iconic Hastings Point in Northern NSW. These connections are often tied to cherished memories and pivotal milestones in our lives, as well as the energy we feel as we move through these spaces - an alignment and vibration instantly recognised and held by our very core.
This original landscape, acrylic on canvas, twists and turn as it expresses Hastings Point from a variety of different perspectives, times and scales all at once. Windy Winter days watching the whales, family camping trips under the Milky Way, lazy picnics on the headland, or time spent exploring the rocky outcrops – what is your connection to this place?
Size: 91.4 × 61 cm
