Mylinda McClelland
Acoustic Serenade

Mixed Media

Within the warm, earthy tones of this mixed media painting lies a heartfelt story of family, music, and the enduring bond between a mother and her talented musician son. I wove layers of emotion, artistry, and hope into 'Acoustic Serenade.’

A talented musician takes center stage. An acoustic guitar in his hands, he serenades the world with the rarely heard original verse of 'Over the Rainbow.' These words, beautifully hidden within the layers of paint, symbolize the hope we all seek when life's storms brew and uncertainty fills the air.

'Acoustic Serenade' is a tribute to the enduring love of a mother, the talent of a musician, and the magic of hope. It captures the essence of new journeys and the beauty of art as a bridge between hearts and continents.

Size: 58 × 59 cm

About Mylinda McClelland

I discovered my passion for painting at 14yrs. My strong interest for visual art lead to all of my career choices centered around creativity. Initially I was a Graphic Artist, then Signwriting. I became known for large murals, including one under the Sundale Bridge in Southport. I designed tattoos for a while and then started a business turning children's art into gifts. During COVID, I returned to painting, finding beauty everywhere and sharing my vision. As a versatile artist using various mediums, I maintain a unique voice. I accept commissions, creating portraits, pets, and landscapes. My art is my voice.
