Thank The Lord it’s Pension day

Acrylic on aluminium panel

As an artist based in Narrabri, NSW, my work is a celebration of the everyday, drawing inspiration from the vibrant colors and inherent beauty of daily life. My art delves into the landscapes, environments, and neighborhoods that surround me, exploring the deep connection between nature, people, and places. Through my work, I uncover the layers of my life in regional Australia, reflecting on the connections to people and places, memories, and the community that shape my existence.
"Thank The Lord, It's Pension Day" reflects on the current economic crisis and the challenges pensioners face in everyday life in Australia. This work highlights their struggle and resilience, offering a poignant commentary on the financial hardships and societal issues impacting the elderly in our community.
