Christopher Vidal
The Plight of the Homeless in the Heart of Affluence

Oil on Stretched Canvas

Paintings serve as powerful mediums to shed light on social injustices. This particular artwork captures the essence of homelessness, a stark reality faced by many individuals worldwide. Despite economic growth, the divide between the affluent and the impoverished continues to widen, leading to a surge in homelessness in recent years. Through poignant visuals like this, I would like to bring attention to the plight of those forced to live on the streets, often overlooked by society. This painting prompts viewers to reflect on the systemic issues that contribute to such disparities and inspire action towards a more equitable future.

Size: 84 × 101 cm
