Sunlight Dancing Through The Leaves
acrylic liner, oil paint
“Sunlight Dancing Through The Leaves” is inspired by the view of Redcliffe Pier and the strong tree that has stood there for many years, quietly witnessing life — couples, children playing, families resting in its shade. Over time, it has grown even more powerful, offering peace and shelter to anyone who passes by.
This painting reflects how I feel when I sit under that tree — calm, grounded, gently held by nature. I used unexpected colours to share my vision of this place, blending them to reflect the emotion I feel when I’m there. The combination of acrylic liners and oil paint adds texture and depth, giving the scene a timeless, almost dreamlike quality.
Through this painting, I wanted to share that feeling of comfort and strength, the kind we find when we slow down.
Size: 76 × 61 cm

Working primarily in oil, she blends classical techniques with bold, experimental touches. With a background in music education, the rhythms and flow of music often guide her brush. Tatiana began painting seriously a few years ago after completing several art courses. Since then, her work has been exhibited in Redcliffe and Brisbane and is held in private collections.
