This representation of the Tweed River looking towards Mt Warning is a favourite topic of mine. I aimed to direct the eye to the majestic mountain which dominates the scenery from every angle. The sunlight lit the trees like a theatrical stage setting awaiting the curtain to rise.

About Suzanne Bourke
Suzanne is a landscape artist practising in the Tweed Region. Her work is photorealistic although she experiments with semi abstract forms. Painting mostly in acrylic paint she aims to capture the mood of the landscape. Whilst her practice began recently she won the Ocean Shores Art Expo in 2016.
