IN THE SILENCE OF COLOUR
Acrylic on canvas
Painting this scene brings me peace—it’s a way to slow down and breathe. I love to sit quietly by the water, watching the sun melt into the horizon, its light spilling across the rocks and dancing on the waves. The colours, so vivid and alive, feel like a language of their own—soft pinks, glowing oranges, and deep blues that soothe my spirit. In this painting, I captured two resting boats, symbols of quiet presence, surrounded by the gentle embrace of nature. I’m drawn to these moments of stillness, where everything feels connected—sky, water, earth, and light. This work reflects not just what I see, but what I feel: the calm, the wonder, and the joy of simply being there to witness it.
