We are rounding up to our drop off weekend in a couple of days, and it’s timely to recognise the organisations who support The Doyles and thereby the artists we represent during our exhibition.  I firmly believe the arts, and in person events, will become ever so important as we forge our way into the future. Those organisations who finance events such as ours, demonstrate their integrity and heart – and firmly place themselves in the foundations of the community.

Gold Coast City Council, via Councillor Tozer’s support has been integral to the affordability of the hall and equipment hire. Followed by our loyal stable of sponsors – Attwood Marshall Lawyers, SkyRidge Living, A Gentle Touch Funerals, The Hive Art Gallery, Wings Real Estate and Friends of the Arts Foundation who have stuck by us for some years now. New to our sponsors this year are the wealth creation planners, ACQUIRA Wealth Partners.

In addition, we have in-kind support from LeftBank Art Group who offer our winners a very useful reproduction package, FILA Group who provide art materials for our junior prizes, and Arts National who sponsor a Gold Coast Junior Encouragement Award. We have also had donations for raffle prizes from Jennefer Doyle, Artable, and Musgrave Art.

The Doyles would not be possible without this very real help and we are sincerely grateful.

I’m sure I will see many of you during our exhibition from the 3-13th of July. A reminder to come along – fill a blank spot on that boring wall perhaps, and support those who strive to show us how they see the world via a few colourful mediums and some canvas.
