About Dorte Colja
Dorte Started painting late in life and is largely self-taught. She has worked in a wide range of mediums, Subjects and painting styles. Dorte, keeps expanding her knowledge and enjoys trying new styles and techniques, she will try anything that interest her. Working with strong vibrant colours in a Contemporary style is Dorte’s preference.
Nature is Dorte’s inspiration, the colours of the Australian landscape in particular. Her paintings reflect her enjoyment of the diversity of the nature surrounding her.
Creating Art is a continuing journey, you never know where your ideas will take you, it’s a wonderful enriching journey.
