Coastal landscapes constantly change. On a walk near her home in Hervey Bay, Kerri-Ann spotted this scene. The leaf was struggling to escape from the tangled roots of a Pandanus tree. It was a fleeting moment, as the leaf was freed by the wind as she watched. A study in pen and ink and watercolour on Archers paper, 'Tangled' focuses on the textures, colours and light of the landscape and highlights the struggle of the moment.

Kerri-Ann Condrin lives in Hervey Bay, Queensland. She observes the beautiful natural environment that surrounds her at home and the places she visits and seeks to capture fleeting impressions of what she sees.
