Kassi Isaac
Sorrel and Sea
Oil on canvas
A still life composed of memory and place - a dark green Wedgwood plate once belonging to my grandmother, beside shells we collected together during my childhood. A sprig of flowering wood sorrel, found growing wild in my backyard, completes the arrangement. The sea, the garden, and the quiet weight of inheritance are gathered here - simple, sincere, and stilled in light.
Size: 41 × 51 cm
