My fatal flaw is assuming that every small town is hiding Australia's best treats and I cannot miss out! Cobram's Corner Store (Cobram, Victoria) is one of my family's favourite regional cafes. We've spent many mornings strolling to the cafe from my Dad's home to fill up on delicious, home-made treats before starting our day. There is nothing like a hot chocolate and home-made macaron to kick-off a full day of mural painting! The schnauzers will tell you they didn't get a crumb - but I can assure you, they did.

Louan (AKA Pencil Head) is a self-taught fine artist, specialising in portraiture and realism. As the name “Pencil Head” suggests, Louan’s art journey began by sketching small-scale, realistic pencil portraits as a side hustle. She left the corporate world behind in 2018 to focus on her passion, and her portfolio quickly evolved to complex artworks across various mediums, including large-scale paintings and murals. Although she enjoys painting almost any subject matter, portraits will always be her favourite!
