Seth Green
A View from Nowhere

Oil and Coloured Pencil on Canvas

“A View from Nowhere” captures a moment caught between presence and absence, a quiet vigil seen from above. I sit beside a fire, with my face blurred into near-erasure, as if my identity is slipping into a dream. The elevated perspective adds a sense of vulnerability, like the viewer is witnessing something deeply private.

Distant city lights soften into memory, unreachable and half-remembered, contrasting with the immediacy of the fire and grounding the scene in impermanence. The work explores the fragile space between inner and outer worlds — where time slows, identity fades, and I become both observer and observed.

Size: 76 × 102 cm
