Scott MCDOUGALL
Autumn Moon, Tenterfield

oil on canvas

The vast, open skies of Northern NSW, with their ever-changing colours and moods, evoke a wide range of emotions in me – from awe and wonder to a sense of tranquility. The late afternoon light elicits a sense of the divine or the spiritual.
It is these emotional responses that serve as a powerful motivator to capture the essence of the Australian landscape on canvas. The play of light and shadow, the interplay of clouds, and the way the landscape meets the horizon, offers endless inspiration.

Size: 122 × 91 cm
