Bouquet de fleurs dans un vase vert
Oil on linen board, to be framed in natural oak if selected.
This piece developed organically; painted in the fading evening light, I relied on intuition and soft washes of background colour in order to highlight the focal point of semi-abstract flowers.
Size: 43 × 53 cm

KEY INSPIRATION
Jessica has always nurtured her creative side through dance, poetry and the study of foreign languages. She is a self-taught artist who began painting as a means of self-expression and creating moments of calm in her busy life as a French teacher. Jessica is inspired by the colour palettes of both Australia and France, beautiful skies, memories of overseas travel as well as the simplicity of still life moments.
